Hi! I’m Emily, founder of Wish I’d Known – a free insights community for parents of young kids.
Previously, I led global teams at top creative agencies. After having my first child, I was struck by how cluttered and confusing the support landscape could be for new parents. I also heard the phrase ‘I wish I’d known…’ countless times, which made me realise that despite the learning curves we go on as parents being universal in many ways, we mainly go through it alone or in small bubbles. And I started thinking: wouldn't it be valuable if you could capture all that collective experience and wisdom we acquire, at scale, and make it easily accessible to one another?
So that’s our mission with Wish I’d Known. We anonymously crowdsource what’s really going on for parents of young kids and what ‘normal’ really looks like, and turn it into easy-to-digest, representative and data-driven insights.
