Michelle is on a mission is to create a kinder fairer world.
With over 30 years of experience in the social impact sector, delivering her first project at the age of 8, Michelle went on to chair a charity for a decade, lead social justice campaigns, work on international movements such as iweigh and hold several roles in social impact.
Michelle owned a luxury wedding and personal events consultancy for two decades, designing and managing personal experiences for high-profile individuals and families.
Michelle is also chronically ill and has several invisible disabilities, is a Mam to two teenage children and a proud Geordie.
Michelle is passionate about closing the disadvantaged gap, inclusion, and equity.
Through her social impact work and living with chronic illnesses, Michelle came into contact with so many kind people who were protecting society who where struggling. People protecting others but living in poverty. A social injustice that frustrated Michelle. When a local nurse living in deprivation died at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, sacrificing her own life to protect all of us, leaving behind two small children, it was the catalyst for change, 'what if kindness was currency'!
Today, Michelle is the Founder of Kind Currency, a community for people who want to create a kinder fairer world. People can join Kind Club to access opportunities and offers to make kind choices, and take kind action and get rewarded for doing so. Businesses can join Kind Club to be supported, celebrated and rewarded for their kind action.
Kind Club fuels the Kindness Fund which supports the people society depends on; nurses, low-grade NHS workers, carers, care workers, volunteers, charity workers; essential frontline workers who are living in deprivation. A community that rewards kindness, a community that supports you to createa lifestyle that positively impacts people and planet, a community to create a kinder fairer world.
